What is your New Years Resolution, or Do You Even Make One?

What is your New Year's resolution, or do you believe in making one? 

I figure if I'm reflecting back on what I shoulda, coulda, woulda done, at the end of the year, I'm not going to make any. 

I look at the positive. That will keep me going. I reflect on what kept me going the past year in addition to what faltered?

Who was there when I needed a shoulder? What about the community that I live in? Do I want to stay or should I move on?  

You want to feel that where you live, the people are kind and are there for you. 

That one I'll have to rethink. 

Just reflect on how you portray yourself. Is it the real you? If it is not, why not? 

I feel, personally, I am a good person. I do things for others and I think I am especially brave to put my life out there for all to see.

If people have no heart and can't help someone because they are not in the same social class, all I can do is pray for them. 

All in all I can say I'm proud of myself as a person, a wife, a mom, a grandma.

And I make my parents proud, rest their souls. And yes, Ma, like you to the end, I will never give up.
