This annual event benefits Florida Hospital North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, organizers say. It starts on the Sponge Docks at 8pm and ends near the Sponge Exchange.
All registered participants will receive an official Beach to Bayou T-shirt, a built-in timing chip and a goodie bag, as well as refreshments at the race's end. The top three male and female racers in each age group receive awards.
