The continuing story about "gambling on the Tarpon Springs Golf Course" has finally been resolved with prosecutors saying they won't press charges. In the meantime, Tarpon Springs has become a laughing stock both in the golf community and the national press with many concluding that the charges were "absurd". The sad part is that the 16 year employee and manager of the Course was forced to resign under the pressure of being threatened with a felony criminal charge for running the Tarpon Springs Golf Course as a "gambling house."
