Flotilla 11-9 of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary will be observing National Safe Boating Week (NSBW) by having displays and demonstrations at the Sponge Docks and at two West Marine stores (Tarpon Ave/US19 and Moog Rd/US19). Vessel Examiners will be at the boat ramps in Anclote Park and Anderson Park and those watercraft passing inspection will be given a sticker. On Saturday, May 18th, Tarpon Springs Mayor David Archer will be presenting the Flotilla with a Proclamation recognizing NSBW.
