Come to The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary and see local artists and craftspeople who will be working and painting on site. The day’s activities will include food provided by Tarpon Tavern, Costa’s, wine tasting sponsored by Wine on the Docks, sales of arts and crafts, original chimp art, live music, plus raffles, and auctions until 3:00pm.
Proceeds go to The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and home to over 70 animals including chimpanzees, orangutans, monkeys, reptiles, tropical birds, and more. Through animal, children, and senior programs, the sanctuary is able to bring awareness to the public about exotic animals as pets and what can be done to help these magnificent animals.
