Probation Officer Accused Of Sex With Woman He Supervised
A Tarpon Springs probation officer has been arrested for reportedly having a sexual relationship with a woman under his supervision.
TARPON SPRINGS, FL -- A Tarpon Springs probation officer has been arrested for reportedly having a sexual relationship with a woman under his supervision.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Jeffrey Thomas Desimone, 40, was arrested after officials investigated a tip about an inappropriate relationship between February and June 2018 with a woman on probation for dealing in stolen property.
He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a felony charge of sexual misconduct and released after posting $5,000 bail. Desimone has been a probation officer since 2010.
