Public's Help Needed To Locate Possibly Disturbed Man
The missing man said he'd been hearing voices in his head that were telling him to rob convenience stores in the area.
TARPON SPRINGS, FL – The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who may be suicidal.
Shawn Svingos, 30, was last seen at Mama Maria’s Green Restaurant, 503 N. Pinellas Ave., Tarpon Springs, at 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7.
On Monday, Jan. 8, he called his cousin from Pasco County around 7:30 p.m. and said he was depressed and was considering ending his life. He also said he’d been hearing voices in his head that were telling him to rob convenience stores in the area.

Svingos is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, carrying a black book bag and riding an mountain bike. He frequents the Holiday area between Mile Stretch Drive and Sunray Drive and is believed to be homeless.
