Robbers Targeting Pizza Delivery Drivers
Two separate robberies have been reported in Tarpon Springs over the last week.

Pizza delivery drivers in the Tarpon Springs area have cause to be concerned about more than being on time.
There have been two robberies over the past week where drivers were the targets, according to Channel 10 news.
The first robbery took place May 10 when a driver for Pizza Hut was sent to 719 S. Disston Ave. for a delivery. In that case, the driver knocked on the door and two armed men approached him, demanding his money.

The second robbery happened Friday, May 17 when a Papa John’s driver was heading back to his store, Channel 10 reports. He was sitting at a stop sign on Disston Avenue when a passerby told him there was something wrong with his car. The driver got out and was subsequently attached by two men.
The Papa John’s employee was able to get away, Channel 10 said in its story.
