The next steps Mom is just for you. The future is yours, but my spirit worries for you.

I feel no pain only when I see you cry through the night.  I know that you hurt, because you feel you have lost the fight. I know you did the best and Dad did too. The justice you seek, did not come through. I am with you now Mom and will always be. Until the moment you feel you can release me.

A man that took my life is now roaming free.  Please don’t become the prisoner that he should be.  Make this pain that you hold, a fresh start for another.  Scholarships, and grants for another young brother.  Give that knowledge and chance to one who can fight! His dreams like my future did not end that night. It will still make you proud, and the tears you will shed, and smile when you lay that night down in your bed.  I pray for your strength in this journey you see,

Justice was not served, but my soul shall be free. You will always be Mom, in your heart I will reside. We will be together one day, open arms with a smile.
