Underage Girls Molested In Exchange For Vapes: Pinellas Sheriff

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A 22-year-old Tarpon Springs has been charged with seven counts of molestation after Pinellas County sheriff's detectives said he solicited sexual favors from underage girl in exchange for vapes.

Brandon Michael White of the 1180 block of South Pinellas Avenue was arrested after the sheriff's office said he was interviewed by detectives Wednesday and admitted to meeting with girls under the age of 16 who were seeking vapes (smoking devices that contain nicotine) through Snapchat and Instagram.

He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious battery, lewd and lascivious conduct and two counts of unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

Detectives began an investigation after receiving a complaint about White having an inappropriate relationship with one of the girls beginning in April.

After conducting interviews, detectives said they found additional victims. According to detectives, White asked to smell and touch the victims’ feet in exchange for nicotine and marijuana products and received various sexual acts from the girls.

They said White contacted the girls through the popular social media platforms and then set up meetings with them.
