It looks as if the Army Corp of Engineers has finished the erosion project along Spring Blvd. on Whitcomb Bayou. It is my understanding that the beautification of that area is the responsibility of the City. I’ve talked with numerous citizens and the consensus is that an elevated walkway would be a welcome addition. I’m sure that city engineers could design a combination of surface and elevated walkway that would enhance the area. Presently the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road is inadequate and requires that pedestrians walk in the narrow street.
