Woman Killed While Crossing U.S. 19 In Tarpon Springs

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A 59-year-old woman was killed Wednesday while crossing U.S. 19 at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive.

According to Tarpon Springs police, at 10:35 p.m., Marzena Prabucki was walking east across U.S. 19 and was in the far right lane when she was struck by a two-door Honda driven by Leonard Hatzell, 30, who was heading north on U.S. 19.

Prabucki died at the scene.
