2 Cops, Valet Driver Injured in Crash

Two Tampa Police officers and a valet driver were injured in a Saturday morning crash outside the Pepsi plant on North 30th Street.

The crash reportedly occurred when a valet driver turned in front of the officers’ vehicle outside the plant on North 30th Street and East 113th Avenue. Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but the valet was critically injured, several media outlets are reporting.

All three were taken to Tampa General Hospital for treatment, the Tampa Police Department announced in an email to media.

The names of those involved have not yet been released.
