3 Sought In Drone Theft

The trio is accused of stealing a $1,000 drone from My Tobbies in University Mall.

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some help identifying three people its deputies say helped themselves to a $1,000 drone from My Tobbies at University Mall.

According to the sheriff’s office, a man and two women entered the store around 1:30 p.m. on April 15. The two women, deputies say, distracted the store employee while the man took off with the DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 813-247-8200. Anonymous tips with a possible cash reward are accepted through Crime Stoppers at 800-873-8477. Tips may also be reported online at www.crimestopperstb.com or by using the P3 Tips Mobile app.
