40th Annual Temple Terrace Arts Festival

Long time residents of Temple
Terrace consider the TT Arts Festival to be one of the longest standing
traditions in our community. And so it is with the 40th annual being
planned for November 9th and 10th at Riverhills Park.

The Arts Festival is many things
to many different people. To those looking for an idyllic setting to display
their fine or contemporary works of art, the calm and serene setting along the
bank of the Hillsborough River is the perfect place to highlight their work.  And to those who make the trek to the park an
annual event to find that perfect birthday or holiday gift, the combination of
scenery and talent is well worth saving time on their hectic calendars. Of
course the event also offers food and entertainment to keep everyone
entertained.

School children from the local
elementary schools are busy working on their “Fresh Views” art entries which will
be on display throughout the park.  Who
knows how many budding artists were inspired after winning a ribbon at the
Festival over the past 40 years?  During
the two-day activity, young artists of any age can participate in making their
own work of art under the instruction of members of the Arts Council.
