I am sure like most parents when it comes to their child's education we want the best environment. My son had that last year at a school called GATES Sr. High. It was great for him academically and socially. He didn't get bullied, he made friends, and he was surrounded by intellectual peers. Hillsborough County decided to shut it down instead of working to keep it alive. So now it is on the parents to try to get it going again. I am trying to reach out to the parents who had their children in GATES and know what a great school it was; and those who want to provide their children the opportunity to experience this great learning environment.
