• Temple Terrace water fix could bring 35% rate hike (tampabay.com) — Temple Terrace leaders are steering away from buying Hillsborough County water and instead favor rebuilding the city's own treatment system plus a temporary PFAS fix, a plan that may trigger a 35% water-rate hike in 2027. The overhaul would soften the city's notoriously hard water and cut PFAS levels, but council members are still debating how quickly to phase in higher bills before a final vote.
