• Temple Terrace water fix could bring 35% rate hike (tampabay.com) — Temple Terrace leaders are weighing a major overhaul of the city's water system that could mean about a 35% rate increase, roughly $15–$20 more per month for typical households. Council members favor rebuilding the city's own treatment plant and adding a temporary PFAS filtration system instead of buying water from Hillsborough County, and will soon decide how quickly to phase in any rate hikes.
   

• Police Probe Unexplained Death Near Major Temple Terrace Intersection (tampafp.com) — Temple Terrace police are investigating an unexplained death after a man was found dead Sunday morning near the busy North 56th Street and East Fowler Avenue intersection. Officers say there's currently no sign of an ongoing threat to the public, and detectives are still working to identify the man and determine how he died. More details are expected as the investigation continues.
