• Temple Terrace Assistant Fire Chief Shane Samon Retires After 24 Years (tampafp.com) — Temple Terrace residents are seeing a major change in their fire department as Assistant Fire Chief Shane Samon retires from his city role on September 11 after 24 years of service. He's credited with strengthening community safety and firefighter welfare, and will quickly transition to Tampa Fire Rescue as Personnel Chief on September 14, taking his Temple Terrace experience to the regional level.
