Duke TIP

Duke TIP is a national recognition program where qualified 7^th graders (by high FCAT/NRT scores) can take the SAT or ACT.

This year, TCMS had 115 (out of 220) students qualify and 48 of them actually tested.  Of those students, 21 qualified for State level Recognition and 2, Maggie Helmke and Harrison Yang, qualified for Grand (otherwise known as
National) Level Recognition. 

All 48 students will be invited to special
ceremonies throughout the state.  Both Maggie and Harrison will be invited to a ceremony held at Duke University.
