
On October 23 at 4 p.m., Florida College continues its Life Enrichment program by hosting renowned literary lecturer Dr. Elliot Engel. A professor at North Carolina State University, Dr. Engel will speak on “L. Frank Baum and the Wizard of Oz” in Puckett Auditorium, and “The Inimitable Winston Churchill” at 7:30 p.m. in Hutchinson Auditorium. He is the winner of multiple teaching awards, including UCLA’s University’s Outstanding Teacher Award and the Victorian Society Award of Merit, and has had his mini-lecture series on Charles Dickens broadcast on PBS nationwide. Admission is free and open to the public.
