The Temple Terrace Garden Club is observing National Garden Week June 2-8.
Mayor Frank Chillura issued a proclamation at the June 4 City Council meeting recognizing National Garden Week.
Members of Temple Terrace Garden Club placed original floral designs in the Temple Terrace Library to observe the event. Displays were set up at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, the Temple Terrace Library and the Family Recreation Center during the week to promote gardening, horticulture and community service. Members of the Temple Terrace Garden Club answered gardening questions and distributed wildflower seeds.
