GFWC Temple Terrace Juniors Launch Drive to Benefit Food Pantry

GFWC Temple Terrace Juniors Launch Drive to Benefit Food Pantry

The GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman’s Club will hold its first annual food drive to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Corpus Christi Church on May 18. Members of the Club will drop brown paper bags off at homes in Temple Terrace the week of May 12 for “curb side pickup” on May 18.

According to representatives and volunteers at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry the food pantry gets critically low on many items at this time of year.  It is especially important in the summer months when children are not getting school meals and need to receive nutritious food at home.
