Don’t Forget to Fill your Brown Paper Bags with Food!

Juniors Collecting Food for Pantry on Saturday, May 18

The GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman’s Club distributed 1000 brown paper bags to local residents this week.  These bags are for their first annual food drive to benefit St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry.

If you received a bag on your door step this week, please fill it with canned goods and non-breakable, non-perishables and place it by your mailbox by 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

In the summer months, the food pantry has a critical need as school children are on summer break and are not getting free meals at school.

If you did not receive a brown paper bag and would like to contribute, you can drop food or checks by the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry on the campus of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N. 56th Street from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
