On March 13, 2013, the Temple Terrace Garden Club held a very special Dedication Ceremony of the Marie Corbett Fountain. TT Garden Club President Norma Walker welcomed guests and dignitaries. Among the speakers were Temple Terrace Mayor Frank Chillura; Sue Angle, First V.P. of Florida Federation of Garden Clubs; and TT Garden Club members Ann Whiteside (Memorial Gift Committee) and Becky Knoche (memories of Marie Corbett). The fountain, which was installed through the determination and hard work of the Temple Terrace Garden Club members, adds to the serene beauty of the park. A delightful buffet luncheon was served afterwards.
