On Saturday, May 18th, 30 members and guests of the Temple Terrace Area Republican Club attended the annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Grand Hyatt. The guest of honor for the event was Senator Marco Rubio.
Special guests of the Temple Terrace Area Republican Club were Abigail Bevery and her mother, Sharon Beverly. Abigail won two tickets as the winner of an essay contest regarding, "Why It's Great to be an American." Abigail's winning essay was chosen out of 37 entries.
The Temple Terrace Area Republican Club thanks Abigail for her patriotism and interest in being an outstanding citizen. They hope to make the contest an annual event.
