The Temple Terrace Gymnastics Academy (TTGA) Level 4 and Level 5 competed this past Friday, February 15th in The Magical Classic International Invitational Meet. The meet took place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
For most of the team members, this was their first International Meet. The meet consisted of teams from the USA, Puerto Rico, Canada, Great Britian/United Kingdom, Mexico, Panama, and Venezuela.
It was an all day event that started at 12 noon for the Level 5's and the team's Level 4 started competing at 7PM. It was a truly magical event for the team.

All the team members placed in at least one or more on all of the events (floor,vault,bars,beam, and all around). The Level 5 did not qualify for Team awards since there were not enough participants in our team from that level. However, The Level 4 team received a special Disney Character Collector piece trophy for winning 4th Place in the competition. Congrats to all of the gymnasts who participated on this event.
The next competition will take place at The Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida for the Gasparilla Classic Invitational. There are approximately 2,900 gymnasts competing from 21 states and 9 international teams including athletes from the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico and Venezuela. This will be the last meet TTGA will compete in for this 2012-2013 season.
