Temple Terrace Juniors - Busy March Meeting

The GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club had a very busy March meeting. Club members brought assorted sundry items such as pads, pencils, cards, hand sanitzer, tissues, etc. to put in 40 Easter Baskets to be donated to the American Cancer Society's Tampa Hope Lodge. The annual project has brought smiles to many of the residents at THL who are undergoing treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Club members also had a 'happy dollars' project where they raised $43 on the spot to donate to the Margie Schine Memorial Fund. The club also donated $100 to the project which will benefit the Woodmont Clubhouse and their ongoing renovations. Margie Schine was active in founding the Woodmont Clubhouse Association and has kept Woodmont Clubhouse, the oldest structure in Temple Terrace, a viable meeting place for clubs and the community. Please go to www.woodmontclubhouse.com to learn more.

You can keep track of the TT Juniors activity on Facebook or join us for a meeting to see how you can volunteer and make a difference on the third Thursday of the month (except for June and July) 6 PM at Woodmont Clubhouse, 415 Woodmont Ave. in Temple Terrace.
