The GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club enjoyed stuffing treat bags for local school teachers. Club members brought assorted individually wrapped candy, mints and gum to put in treat bags to give to local schools throughout the community. In addition $200 in club funds raised through the stepping stone project (where stepping stones are made of the old Publix mural tile pieces) will be donated to the Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County which serves victims of domestic abuse. In May, the Club is gearing up for a Highway Cleanup on 56th Street and a Food Drive for St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank in May.
