Temple Terrace Woman's Club News & Fundraisers
At their January meeting, members of the GFWC Temple Terrace Woman's Club were busy making plans for several upcoming fundraisers. Discussions of fundraisers included: sales for Easter Lillys, mums and tulips @ $7.50 each contact Carol Caruso 813-988-3743 or Maryrose Owens 813-988-2000 and the 18th Annual Spring Boutique/Luncheon at Embassy Suites USF on April 5 from 10-2 with tickets @ $35 - contact Sylvia Traina 813-785-5851 or Elaine Coniglio 813-417-3600. The TT Woman's Club is also hosting the 40th Annual Prayer Breakfast at the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club on Feb. 22 at 7 AM as a community service. Speakers included Andrea Brogan from Meals on Wheels and founder of Memory Lane Steven Adler along with Karen Waugh. Former Mayor Joe Affronti was given a stepping stone for his many years of service to the community. Connie Smith was given the January Member of the Month Award and Elaine Coniglio was given the Member of the Year Award for 2012.

The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman's Club is devoted to community service, personal growth and the development of friendships. As members, they work together in the spirit of friendship and service to better the quality of life in Temple Terrace and the world. The Club provides opportunities for personal growth through achievement and lasting relationships through community interaction. The club meets from Jan. through Dec. on the fourth Wednesday of the month, no meetings in June and July.
