World-Class Choreographer Coaches Local Acappella Chorus for Upcoming International Competition

On February 4 and 5, Erin Howden, a highly energetic and creative world-class choreographer from Toronto, Canada will assist the Toast of Tampa Show Chorus in their preparation for this November's Sweet Adelines International competition in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Howden travels across North America and around the world helping both women's and men's barbershop choruses add dance, movement, and emotional portrayal to strengthen visual and musical connection with their audiences.  She is also a member and choreographer of Metro North, current SAI International championship chorus.

In 2011, the 25-year-strong Toast of Tampa placed 5^th in the world from among 35 other choruses around the globe, and won their regional competition last year to qualify their 100+ singers for the 2013 International convention.

Chorus rehearsals are open to the public, and are held each Tuesday from 7-10 PM at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church & School, 304 Druid Hills Rd, Temple Terrace.
