Temple Terrace Patch: Why did you decide to be involved with the "Cinderella" production?

Reichert: I have been involved with the Masque Theatre’s summer youth productions for the last seven years, and I really like the story of "Cinderella." I also enjoy all of the songs. When I found out the theatre would be putting on the "Cinderella" production, I realized I really wanted to play the role of the prince.

Temple Terrace Patch: What is your favorite song in the production and why?

Reichert: My favorite song in the production, hands down, is “Ten Minutes Ago.” Although it was written a really long time ago, it’s still such a well-written song for the current time period. One of my favorite lyrics is “she is taking me back to the skies.” They are sung at the moment when he realizes he has finally found the girl he has been waiting for.

Temple Terrace Patch: Obviously the story of "Cinderella" is a classic. What do you like most about the story?

Reichert: I just really like that is a traditional love story. I have never played a character that has fallen in love before. The story behind the production is just really awesome to me because it is so unique that Cinderella and the prince fall in love.

Temple Terrace Patch: Who is your favorite character in the story and why?

Reichert: I think the stepsisters are my favorite characters. They are really funny, and I enjoy comedic characters.Their songs are hilarious, and I really enjoy watching the actresses who play them because of how funny they are.
