Arrest Made in Temple Terrace Shooting
A 21-year-old man was killed in the Friday night shooting.

The Temple Terrace Police Department has announced an arrest in a Friday night shooting that led to the death of a 21-year-old man.
Brett Krystopher Kutzler, 19, faces multiple charges, including felony murder, in relation to the incident that unfolded in the Winn-Dixie parking lot, 8837 N. 56th St., around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
In an email to media, police said that Kutzler and Ditavius Jordan, 21, met another man in the parking lot to buy drugs. During the meeting, Jordan pulled a gun on the man they were meeting and ordered Kutzler to go through his pockets. Kutzler, the email said, did so and took the man’s cellphone.

As the was being robbed, the man also pulled a gun and fired a shot into Jordan’s chest, the email said.

Kutzler and Jordan then left the parking lot in a gray sedan. Jordan, police said, asked Kutzler to let him out of the car in the 300 block of St. Augustine Avenue.
Kutzler, police said, let Jordan out and drove away.
Jordan’s body was found by a passing motorist around 9:40 p.m.
When police arrived and examined Jordan’s body, they found the stolen cell phone.
Kutzler was picked up Sunday night and now faces robbery, second-degree felony murder, robbery home invasion charges. He was being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond on Monday.
Police are not yet releasing the name of the man who was robbed and fired the shot that hit Jordan.
