Bay Baroque Ensemble in Concert

The Bay Baroque Ensemble is the leading Baroque ensemble in the Tampa Bay area, organized by longtime USF faculty member Dr. John Robison. This concert will feature USF adjunct professor Anne Marie Scotto (harpsichord); guest artists Patrick Baran (violin), and Theresa Villani (viola da gamba); and guest soprano Maggie Coleman. John Robison will perform on several instruments, including the Baroque oboe and recorder. The concert will feature music by some of the finest Baroque composers from the late-17th to mid-18th centuries, including Johann Sebastian Bach, George Philipp Telemann, and Tomaso Albinoni. The Bay Baroque Ensemble performs on replicas of the early eighteenth-century two-keyed oboe, the recorder, viola da gamba, and an Italian-style harpsichord.

Tickets: $5 Seniors/Students; $7 Gen. Adm., sold at the door, day of concert only
