BDCHS Fundraiser Will Feature Comedy Basketball Team “The Court Jesters” and Derrick Brooks

The Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School Student Council has announced the world famous comedy basketball team "The Court Jesters" will come to Tampa and play a fundraising game. The game, which is being billed as "an afternoon of laughter and family fun," will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Young Middle Magnet School gymnasium. Game time is 1pm.

If you like the Harlem Globetrotters you will love The Court Jesters. They are a group of highly talented former college and professional basketball players with great showmanship skills who travel the world with their unique blend of basketball and comedy. They are known for getting the audience involved in their antics. They will play a team made up of Tampa Bay community members including teachers from several area schools. Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate High School co-founder and Tampa Bay Buccaneers great Derrick Brooks has agreed to be the celebrity coach of the community members' team. 

Young Middle Magnet School has graciously offered to host the event due to the expected turnout. This will truly be an afternoon of comedy basketball at a price you can afford. Don't miss this afternoon of excitement and fun for the entire family.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 the day of the event. A family pack can be purchased for $37 which will admit up to five family members.
