Bike With The Mayor Coming Soon
The third annual event coincides with Florida Bike Month.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Temple Terrace area residents who want to rub elbows with Mayor Frank Chillura will get the chance during an upcoming event. They’ll have to do so while riding bicycles though.
The city has announced its third annual Bike with the Mayor event is scheduled for March 11. The free event is open to all riders and kicks off with activities at 7:30 a.m. at the Family Recreation Complex, 6610 Whiteway Drive. The ride itself will begin around 8 with Mayor Chillura leading cyclists on a “leisurely, 3.9-mile ride along the beautiful, tree-lined streets of Temple Terrace,” the city announced in a media release.
In addition to the ride, participants will find light refreshments, free bicycle lights, free T-shirts and other giveaways while supplies last. The 2015 event had more than 75 riders.
