Each night we prepare the dining room table so that we can work on my son’s homework. (They need the proper area, right?) Well as the night progresses and my son tells me 5 times that he doesn’t want to do his homework, that he doesn’t understand his homework and that he’s tired (but of course not too tired to play laser tag, video games or ride his bike) that we both are pulling our hair out and the pencil hasn’t even touched the paper.

My husband then comes in to assists….(gotta tag team it right?) Oh, let me tell you, his super-dad cape must have been tied too tight and broken as well…cause that lasted oh 2 seconds.
The moral of my story…..appreciate your child’s teacher. Can you imagine what it must be like to lead 20+ kids in the correct academic direction during the entire duration that they are within the classroom? It makes me want to provide them with the ultimate super-teacher cape!
