Phone Force
Do phones have an unseen force that causes your child to interrupt you while on the phone?
Cellphones/Telephone….most of us own one. They make life easier and yet there are times where I want to relive the scenes in movies and throw my cellphone out the window while driving. But unfortunately these days, they are becoming a necessary evil.
Anyway my point today…..well, what kind of magnetic force do cellphones have? No, I’m not looking for an actual scientific explanation about the way phones are made. I’m talking about the force that occurs when the phone rings and I’m speaking with someone, and my 5 year old son magically appears (as if an invisible force is actually moving him in my direction). I think the force even takes over his brain powers. Why do I say this, because the child sees that I’m on the phone and continues to repeat “MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY.” I kindly remind him that I’m on the phone….to which he continues, “I need to tell you something.” Really? How does this intelligent 5 year old instantly “forget” his manners and stand there and repeat something over and over while visualizing that you are speaking with someone else. Honestly, it must be the “force.” I need to find some phone force breaking kryptonite.
Whew….now that I got that out….I need to go speak with my son to discuss this phone force and how we can team up together to combat it. :-/ (I hope he will be on my team this time.)
