Sate Adds Vietnamese Banh Mi Sandwiches to Southeast Asian Menu
Sate Southeast Asian Grill located near USF on Fowler Ave. has new Vietnamese menu items called Banh Mi now available for guests.
Sate Southeast Asian Grill, located in the Sweetbay Plaza on Fowler Avenue near Temple Terrace and New Tampa in the University area, has added a couple of new menu items to their already diverse Southeast Asian menu. Sate is named after the popular dish from Indonesia and Southeast Asian and focuses its menu in the Asian countries of this region of the world.
Grilled Sesame BBQ Pork Banh Mi and Traditional Banh Mi are the two new items that represent Vietnamese cuisine. The Grilled Sesame BBQ Pork Banh Miis relatable to any taste, while the traditional is more of what you would find in Vietnamese bakeries and restaurants. Both have an excellent crunch to them and feature a number of different popular ingredients in this style of cooking. Both sandwiches are 9 inches and sold at $4.95. In addition, Grilled Sesame BBQ Pork is now available on the standard Sate bowl/sandwich selection for $6.55.
Sate offers students and faculty from the University of South Florida (USF) a 10% student discount and is an affordable option for students in the area. The restaurant also offers Wi-Fi and outlets, making it a great study location as well. Sate is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and located at 2716 E. Fowler Ave. Tampa, FL 33612.
