Professor Andrews joined the University of Arizona Architecture faculty after teaching at USC, the University of Nebraska as the Hyde Chair, the University of Virginia, Syracuse University, and Clemson University, where he was the Robert Mills Distinguished Professor. His teaching and research revolve around drawing and representation. He also has his own architectural practice in Los Angeles.
