Builders Club News

The Builders Club @ TCMS, sponsored by school nurse Caryl Kloppenburg, has had a very busy year so far. They have adopted the residents at Royal Sun Park assisted living facility and have, so far, spent time with them for Veteran's Day as well as a visit prior to winter break.  More visits are on the agenda for the second half of the school year.

Students spent several hours after school weeding and replenishing Josh's Garden, which is located in the back property of the school.  Josh's Garden was created in memory of a young student who passed away while attending TCMS and students in his class decided to create a space that would represent the strength and courage he showed while fighting through his illness.  It is an outdoor retreat that students, faculty and staff can enjoy year-round.

Builders Club members also participated in the Hillsborough River Clean-up, which has been one of their pet projects for several years.

Thanks to our students and club sponsor for their service to school and to the community!
