Can you stand to be blessed? Jeremiah spoke of the potter's house. He relates his experience as he watched the potter in action.
He states" The potter had clay of his wheel. As the potter worked, he spotted some imperfection in the mold. As the potter worked with the imperfection; it came to a point when he discovered it was best to discontinue and begin anew." I know often times we have invested so much time in an activity, a person, behavior or a setting that we are committed to it to the point of being disobedient to wisdom.
Although the potter invested his time, his love and his money to this endeavor of creating, he reached a point whereas it was beneficial to begin with something new instead of staying with the marred old.
The secret to overcoming is denying oneself.
Reflection... what are you creating that is too marred to continue?
