
The Temple Terrace City Council will have a special meeting Tuesday to talk more about finding a replacement for City Clerk Lisa Small, who is scheduled to retire May 17.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. in the city manager’s conference room at City Hall.
Small began working for the city as deputy city clerk on Oct. 2, 2000. Upon the retirement of Faye Barkholz, Small was appointed to city clerk and started that position on March 27, 2004.

During her tenure as city clerk, Small served as president of the Florida Association of City Clerks in 2006-07, and she received the President’s Award in 2001-02 and again in 2007-08. She also received the association’s highest award, the Robert N. Clark Memorial Award in 2010.
She served as Region III (southeast United States) director of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks—an international association for city clerks—2009-12.
