Commercial Fire Under Investigation In Temple Terrace
The early Monday morning blaze caused 'substantial damage' to the former Budget Rental Car building, authorities say.

TEMPLE TERRACE, FL — Temple Terrace and state officials are investigating a fire that broke out early Monday morning at the former Budget Rental Car building on Fowler Avenue.
According to the Temple Terrace Fire Department, the blaze erupted around 1:20 a.m. at 6906 E. Fowler Ave. The building was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported.
The fire caused “substantial structural damage, including damage to the roof,” Risk Reduction Division Chief Dale Deleacaes said in a statement about the blaze. No damage estimates are yet available.

Investigators from the city and the State Fire Marshal’s Office are working to determine the cause of the blaze, Deleacaes said.
