Crash Closes Section Of Nebraska Avenue
Tampa Police say three kids crashed a stolen car into a mobile home Wednesday evening.
TAMPA, FL — Tampa Police are asking motorists to stay away from northbound Nebraska Avenue near Bougainvillea Avenue East following a Wednesday evening crash. The agency says all northbound traffic lanes are closed.
The crash in question occurred when a vehicle ran into a mobile home at 10603 N. Nebraska Ave., police wrote in an email to media. No one inside the home, which is in the Lazy Oaks park, was injured.
“The vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the day," the email said. Three juveniles were inside the vehicle when it crashed. All three were taken into custody at the scene, and were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, the agency reported.

Tampa Police were in the area when the crash occurred, but no officers were in pursuit of the vehicle when it crashed, the agency added.
