Auditions for "Bus Stop" by William Inge

Directed by Charlie Strange

"Bus Stop" is the first play of Masque Theatre's 2012 Season. Auditions will be held on Sunday, Dec. 11th at 7:00 pm and Monday,  Dec. 12th at 7:00 pm at the Lightfoot Recreation Center, 10901 N. 56th Street in Temple Terrace FL.

Available Roles:
ELMA DUCKWORTH. 15 - 18 yrs old. Elma is an intelligent, innocent high school girl who works at the diner after school and  on the weekends.
GRACE HOYLARD. 30 - 65. Owner of the diner. She is a feisty, passionate business woman, whose husband has gone missing.
CHERIE. 19-31 yrs. old. She is a small town singer/dancer from the backwoods of the Ozarks. Like many women that live off  their charms, she has lost her innocence but she has not lost her spirit or her beauty. Should be able to sing, dance/move  well and be comfortable with her sexuality.
BO DECKER. 19-24 yrs. old. He is a young, innocent, hard working cowboy. He sees what he wants and takes it. Everything in  his world is simple. Nothing complex about herding cattle or choosing a wife.
DR. GERALD LYMAN. 50+. An unemployed professor with a strong interest in under-aged girls. He is a well-learned, articulate  drunk. Likeable but a little creepy.
WILL MASTERS. 40+. The local sheriff. Big imposing man, with a kind heart.
CARL. 30-65. The bus driver. He is an everyday kind of guy. Not someone that would stand out in a crowd.
VIRGIL BLESSING. 40+. Older, wiser cowboy who has become a father figure to Bo. Guitar playing would be nice.
