Enjoy a day of golf and help raise money for college scholarships during the Crimson Classic Golf tournament on Saturday, June 1, at Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club, 6000 Sun Blvd., St. Petersburg.
The golf tournament is a best ball-team scramble format. Golfers can play as a team of four, or single players can join a team. Registration opens at 7 a.m., with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start and concludes with an awards luncheon at 12:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and a putting contest.
The Tampa Bay Crimson Tide hosts the event every year and awards a scholarship to a Tampa Bay high school student to attend the University of Alabama. TBCT welcomes all golfers to play in the tournament, no matter what their college affiliation may be.
