The Vigil for Lost Promise ceremony is a special event for the entire community that enables participants to honor and remember the lives of those lost to drugs. The ceremony includes a variety of presentations by local, state and national officials, as well as personal stories shared by a recovering addict and another person whose life was affected by drugs as their family member fell victim. Guest speakers, an invocation, music and a candlelight procession pay tribute and remind us to carry their message. Following the procession, guests will enjoy light refreshments as they explore the Target America – Opening Eyes to the Damage Drugs Cause exhibition through 10:00 p.m. Guests will also have the opportunity to place names of loved ones to The Lost Talent Memory Wall. The event begins in the MOSI Auditorium; recommend seating by 6:45pm.
Event is free and open to the public!
