The Doula Program provides perinatal support services including childbirth edu-cation, mentoring classes, labor and delivery hospital support, postpartum support and instruction. The basis of doula care is maternal social support, which includes offering information, tangible physical assistance, and emotional support. There is no cost to receive this service provided by REACHUP, Inc. through UPC Tampa Bay (valued at approximately $600.00).
