MOSI hosts Tampa’s Second Annual Festival of Chocolate

Florida’s Largest All-Chocolate Tasting, Shopping and Interactive Experience. The Festival of Chocolate is Florida’s largest all-chocolate themed event!

The Festival of Chocolate brings an incomparable tour through a unique chocolate themed museum on-site at MOSI. The event will be a fun-filled, educational experience for everyone, especially those with a sweet tooth. There will be treats and events for guests of all ages. MOSI will exhibit the science and history of chocolate along with the journey of the cacao bean. There will be tasty treats for everyone and a complementary chocolate raffle.

A few highlights that will be found at The Festival of Chocolate will include a live competition of the best of chocolate indulgences in Central Florida, judged by a panel of pastry experts, celebrities and self-named chocoholics. Kids will also have the opportunity to design a colorful and edible masterpiece and learn about the journey of the cacao bean. There will be hands-on science of chocolate demonstrations that will tempt and amaze guests, chocolate cookie-stacking contests, chocolate games, historical presentations, a book signing and a Chocolate University class taught by the Mastery.

Hours of the festival are Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Entrance into The Festival of Chocolate is complementary with your MOSI admission. Each adult advance purchase ticket will receive two dollars in chocolate coins to spend in The Festival of Chocolate. MOSI Members receive discounted entry pricing at only $10 a ticket for adults and member children 12 and under can attend for FREE.  Advanced ticket purchases are available at www.tampa.festivalofchocolate.com.
